I loved seeing these guys with the kids this fall.  So damn cute.  Totally worth the hike out to the end of the beach.

We went to the National Seashore one weekend while it was still pretty nice out.  The water was freezing, but the visitor center was pretty neat.  They had this real old boat there.

We went on a whale watch during orientation a couple weeks ago, my first ever despite growing up on the east coast, and we saw (and smelled) humpback whales.  They were so pretty and so close and so wonderful.
